Swanland Group acquires Master-Planned Development site at Bushland Beach, Townsville
Swanland Group has completed the acquisition of the balance master plan development site at Bushland Beach Estate in Townsville, Queensland from Sunland Group Limited, securing a substantial landholding within one of North Queensland’s most established master-planned coastal communities.
The acquisition comprises 14 land parcels with a combined area exceeding 133 hectares, representing the remaining development area of the Bushland Beach Estate. The site forms part of Townsville’s Northern Beaches growth corridor and presents significant long-term residential development potential.
Bushland Beach is recognised as Townsville’s only master-planned seaside community, positioned along the shores of Halifax Bay and strategically located within close proximity to major transport routes, employment nodes and essential infrastructure, including Townsville University Hospital, James Cook University, Lavarack Barracks and Townsville Airport.
The transaction provides Swanland Group with the opportunity to continue the delivery and expansion of a thoughtfully designed coastal neighbourhood supported by established retail, recreational and community amenities, including Bushland Beach Plaza.
